Privacy
This is a magazine. There are no accounts to open, no comments to post and nothing for sale, so there is very little about you for it to hold. What follows is all of it.
We count how many people read a piece. We don’t try to work out who you are.
We collect two things.
The first is a count of readers. We use Vercel Analytics to record that a page was read — which page, which site referred you, and the general shape of your browser, device and country. It sets no cookies, and it does not follow you to other sites.
The second is the ordinary record any web server keeps. Requests to this site are logged by our host, IP address included, and kept briefly so that faults can be found and abuse stopped.
- There are no accounts, so there is no name, password or profile of you to hold. We set no cookies of our own. There is no advertising on the site, and nothing about you is sold, rented or handed to data brokers.
- We run no advertising or social-media trackers. The fonts and images you see are served from this site, so reading a piece here does not announce your visit to a third party.
The magazine is written for adults and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.
When this policy changes, the date at the foot of the page changes with it. If we ever begin collecting something we do not collect today, we will say so.
